Andrew Lambrou Charalambous is a British businessman and political candidate. Charalambous is the national housing and environment spokesman for the United Kingdom Independence Party. He is currently UKIP parliamentary candidate for the constituency of North East Cambridgeshire. == Life == His Greek Cypriot father served as a soldier for the British in World War II and later settled in the United Kingdom. He went to William Forster School in Tottenham. Charalambous posted credentials from the London International College on his website, indicating a Doctorate in Business Administration, as well as a Doctorate in Byzantine Theology and Professorship at Universitas Sancti Cyrilli. London International College is not accredited〔(【引用サイトリンク】 url = http://www.britishcouncil.org/education/accreditation/centres/ )〕 and the Malta-based Universitas Sancti Cyrilli is not a University and does not award degrees. In October 2014, ''The Times'' newspaper reported that Charalambous had falsely claimed to hold a "PhD in the parallels between Plato’s Utopia and Spartan Society" on his Facebook page as well as claiming to be a "professor of environmental sciences" on his official website.
